Rudhramadevi : Shooting Immersive 3D

Post by parambyte »

3D is here to stay. Witness the sea change in Indian Cinema as more Indian filmmakers are embracing 3D.

After Bahubali, Rudhramadevi is yet another epic & magnanimous historical movie (Filmed in 3D) also released in Hindi on the 9th of October.

It stars Anushka Shetty, Rana Duggapatti, Allu Arjun, Prakash Raj, Nithya Menen, and Baba Sehgal.

India's finest artists like Thotha Tharani, Iaiyaraaja, Neeta Lulla, Ajayan Vincent, Peter Hein have all lent their respective crafts to the Stereoscopic 3D Segue created by Skywork Studios for the national award winning director Gunaasekhar Karri's “Rudhramamdevi”.

With worlds best 3D technology Skywork is here to help Indian filmmakers to produce impressive, high – quality S3D films.

Ashish Mittal & Surabhi are both Stereo 3D professionals who have dedicated all their efforts in ensuring that 3D is not compromised with, by providing best possible end – to – end 3D solutions.

Rudhramadevi is a good start for where 3D movies should be headed in India. The audiences have enjoyed and appreciated the immersive 3D feel in Rudhramadevi.

It is very encouraging as some iconic filmmakers in India are now interested in exploring the 3rd dimension as an added advantage to tell their stories and are eager to explore the process of depth design prior to filming rather than merely use it as an after thought.

Skywork is continuously finding ways of filming 3D with much ease and creatively achieve the best design for the film, in 3D.
